At the 2019 edition of the Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari unveiled the
latest in a four decades-long tradition of mid-engine V8 supercars,
the F8 Tributo. The replacement for the outgoing 488, the F8
boasted a revised version of the 488 Pista's twin-turbocharged
3.9-liter V8, tuned to an eye-watering 710 horsepower-making the F8
the most powerful V8 Ferrari produced to date. As is tradition,
Ferrari drew heavily from its motorsport programs when developing
the F8, using sophisticated electronics and aerodynamic tricks to
put all of that power to the ground and keep things pointed
straight. The seven-speed F1Dual Clutch transaxle delivers
rapid-fire shifting; and at speed (upward of 211 miles per hour)
the F8 developed 15 percent more downforce than the 488.
Designed under the purview of Ferrari Centro Stile, the F8's
styling is beautiful, purposeful, and efficient, with nods to the
past such as the return to quad taillights, last seen on the F430.
For drivers seeking the ultimate wind-in-the-hair experience, the
F8 Spider arrived soon after, featuring a power retractable hardtop
which opens in just 14 seconds. Notably, the open-air Spider gave
nothing away to its fixed-roof sibling, with Ferrari quoting the
same staggering performance and acceleration figures. With the
arrival of the V6-powered 296 in 2022, the F8 stood as the last in
an unbroke lineage of mid-engine V8 Ferraris that began with the
308 GT4 in 1973.
Stunningly presented in a sophisticated color scheme of Blu
Mirabeau over a Cuoio Naturale leather upholstery, this gorgeous F8
Spider is a two-owner example which has covered a mere 2,047 miles
from new, recorded at the time of cataloging. Delivered new via
Ferrari of San Diego, this car was thoughtfully equipped with over
$50,000 in optional extras. Exterior accents include yellow
calipers, Scuderia shields, and 20-inch forged painted wheels.
Inside, the cabin is luxuriously appointed for touring with fully
electric Daytona-style seats, leather central tunnel, carbon fiber
driver zone, Premium HiFi system with Apple CarPlay, and Nero
carpet. Other desirable options include the front suspension lifter
and Ferrari's AFS adaptive lighting system.
Indicative of its exceptionally low miles, this F8 Spider has
clearly lived a pampered existence and is offered in superb
condition with the clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report indicating
regular servicing. The car also benefits fresh dealer service,
completed in preparation for sale. Additional items include a
digital window sticker, owner's manual set including the
VIN-matched service and warranty booklet, as well as a front
license plate bracket and roadside tire inflation kit.
This striking and elegantly presented F8 Spider is freshly serviced
and ready for a new custodian to experience the thrill of open-air
motoring in the pinnacle of Ferrari's legendary mid-engine V8
supercar range.
