1956 Jaguar XK140 SE, certified by Jaguar Heritage Trust and comes with a clean MA title. It was shipped from the factory to New York with 3.4L engine, a four speed manual transmission, white exterior, and a red interior in January of 1956.
Following a fresh white paint job, in 1979 my brother drove this fine running car into his climate controlled basement for the installation of a new red Irish leather interior and some rear brake work. The lovely interior was professionally installed shortly thereafter but a busy career, two children and multiple grandchildren took priority over completing the other work. Age and failing health now forces the immediate sale. It could easily become a fine “driver” or the foundation of complete restoration. It was stored on jack stands, covered, and remains in solid condition.
A 1957 XK140 “parts car” is included in the price or could be sold separately. The 57 parts car has valuable body parts, i.e. hood, trunk doors, etc (see photos), but no engine and very little trim. It does include a four speed manual transmission with overdrive, driveshaft, and rear end. This might be a desirable upgrade for the white 1956 XK140.
