Recent Restoration
New Arrival! This 70' was restored from the frame up in 2020 and
refinished in Autumn Gold over a Black Bucket Seat interior. Power
comes from a period-correct 396ci V8 paired with a console-shifted
Muncie 4-speed! Adding to the drivability are Power Brakes and
Power Steering. Completing the look of this Chevelle are the iconic
black racing stripes, SS badging, hood pins, cowl induction, and
15in SS wheels wrapped in Raised White Letter BFG Radial T/A
tires!
The inside of this Chevelle has remained very original and is in
impressive condition for its age! Inside you'll find Black bucket
seats with matching rear bench seating. (Original seat belts still
present front and rear!) The 3-spoke comfort-grip steering wheel
frames the stock gauge cluster which features a Factory Tach,
120mph Speedo, Analog clock, and gauges for coolant temp, fuel
level, oil pressure, and voltage. All have clear lenses and bright
original font. The AM/FM radio has been bypassed and a modern
pioneer head unit has been mounted below the dash.
Under the hood you will find a very well detailed trim black engine
compartment, with a freshly serviced 4bbl 396c.i. V8 that is
dressed with an Edelbrock intake, new accessory drive, exhaust
manifolds, hoses, belts, clamps, covers, cleaners, and more! The
underside of this Chevelle also boasts a clean, rust free, and
coated frame and original floor pan. The Dual Exhaust feeds
flowmaster muffler, the SS specific F41 Suspension remains intact
and a 12-Bolt Axle spins a 3.23 gear! Overall it shows of a car
that's been well-cared for over its life and has recently been
given everything needed to make it a great car to enjoy for many
more years to come!
This Chevy would certainly make an excellent addition to any
garage. For more information please Call the Team at LaFontaine
