1964 Mercury Monterey, finished in a Turquoise and White two-tone
exterior over a Turquoise leather interior. As part of Mercury's
full-size lineup, the Monterey combined substantial proportions,
bright exterior trim, and distinctive early-1960s styling.
Under the hood is a 390 CID FE-series V8 paired with an automatic
transmission. The 390 was a factory engine offering for the 1964
Monterey, and Mercury offered several versions of the engine that
year. The 390 could also be paired with Mercury's Multi-Drive
Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission, making V8 power and automatic
operation an important part of the Monterey lineup. Dezo's

cruiser. The Monterey rode on a 120-inch wheelbase for 1964,
contributing to the substantial proportions associated with
