1931 marked the final year for the iconic Ford Model A, famous for
its classic pre-war styling, mechanical simplicity and the massive
popularity among purists and hot rodders for decades. There was
another Model A that was built between 1903 and 1904 but clearly
very different cars. This car is here in consignment from our
friends at the Leelanau Historical Society that was gifted this car
in hopes of other things, however time, maintenance and other
things hindered it not possible for them to keep it. This car has a
clean MI title but is currently INOP. We are not exactly sure what
is going on, it acts like it wants to start sometimes and its not
for a lack of trying and service over the last few years. We have a
two page sheet cocumenting everything that was done professionally
from 2022 until 2025 from engine mechanics to brakes, to
electrical. As of now they are throwing in the towel and would like
to see it go to someone that will see it through and has the
ability to keep it going for years to come. It has new rubber,
battery and all of the other things. It is quite solid with body
and paint imperfections but would make an excellent driver quality
car with a little know how. We encourage any questions or
inpsections here in our Traverse City location.
