automatic transmission. This naturally aspirated, dual-overhead-cam
engine was factory-rated at 222 horsepower and 198 lb-ft of torque,
offering an impressive balance of performance and everyday
drivability for its time. The 300ZX was also engineered with power
steering, anti-lock brakes, and a four-wheel independent multilink
suspension, showcasing Nissan's advanced approach to sports-car
design during the 1990s.
