1967 Chevrolet Corvette, 427/400 HP Tri-Power, 4-Speed, Factory
A/C
Classic Cars of Sarasota is proud to present this 1967 Chevrolet
Corvette Sting Ray Coupe, finished in striking Black with a Red
Stinger hood, bright chrome, and a Black interior. Featuring a
comprehensive rotisserie restoration completed in 2024, this
Corvette pairs legendary big-block performance with the timeless
styling of the final C2 model year. With its 427-cubic-inch V8,
Tri-Power induction, 4-speed manual transmission, factory air
conditioning, and desirable comfort features, this Sting Ray
delivers an exceptional combination of performance, style, and
classic Corvette character.
THE LEGENDARY 427 TRI-POWER
Under the hood sits Chevrolet's formidable 427-cubic-inch V8,
factory rated at 400 horsepower, equipped with the distinctive
Tri-Power induction system featuring three two-barrel carburetors.
Paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, this big-block Corvette
offers the engaging driving experience and exhilarating performance
that made the Sting Ray one of America's most celebrated sports
cars.
Side-mounted exhaust pipes add an unmistakable performance look,
while power steering and four-wheel disc brakes enhance the driving
experience. Red line tires, bright chrome, and the signature Red
Stinger hood complete the aggressive, unmistakably 1960s Corvette
appearance.
THE FINAL AND MOST REFINED C2
The 1967 model year marked the end of the second-generation
Corvette, commonly known as the C2 or Sting Ray, before Chevrolet
introduced the redesigned C3 in 1968. Often regarded as the most
refined version of the mid-year design, the 1967 Corvette featured
cleaner exterior styling, reduced badging, and distinctive details
that set it apart from earlier C2 models.
Chevrolet produced 8,504 Sport Coupes for 1967, making this
final-year Sting Ray an important chapter in Corvette history. The
dramatic Black exterior, Red Stinger hood, bright chrome, and side
pipes give this example a particularly striking presence.
ROTISSERIE RESTORED IN 2024
This Corvette received a comprehensive rotisserie restoration in
2024, with attention given to the chassis and major supporting
systems. The chassis was powder coated, stainless-steel fuel and
brake lines were installed, and all rubber components were
replaced. A new electrical wiring harness was installed, while the
interior received new carpet and seat covers.
Additional upgrades include Borgeson power steering,
stainless-lined brake calipers, and dual electric cooling fans,
along with numerous other restoration improvements. The result is a
beautifully configured classic Corvette that combines its original
big-block character with thoughtful attention to its supporting
systems.
