This 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.8 is one of just 51 examples
built by Porsche for competition use. Delivered new to privateer
racer Mark Sandridge, it was prepared for the 1994 IMSA GT
Championship by Team Salad Racing.
The RSR enjoyed a successful 1994 season, finishing second in class
at the 24 Hours of Daytona, winning its class at the 12 Hours of
Sebring, and taking another class victory at Watkins Glen. The
results helped Sandridge secure the 1994 IMSA GT2 Championship.
The car has since been maintained with its period racing history
preserved and is presented in its distinctive Team Salad Racing
livery.
