When Porsche unveiled the first 911 Turbo at the 1974 Paris Motor
Show, it set a benchmark for high-performance road cars that each
successive generation has worked to raise. Four decades later, the
991-generation Turbo arrived with 90 percent of its components
redeveloped. Its wheelbase grew by nearly four inches, and the
model also introduced rear-axle steering and Porsche Active
Aerodynamics, an adaptive front and rear spoiler system making its
debut on a production road car.
The Turbo S sat at the top of the range. Its 3.8-liter
twin-turbocharged flat-six produced 560 horsepower and as much as
553 lb-ft of torque with overboost, sent to all four wheels through
a seven-speed PDK and Porsche Traction Management. Porsche quoted
0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds and a top track speed of 197 mph. Porsche
Dynamic Chassis Control, Ceramic Composite Brakes, the Sport Chrono
Package, LED headlights with PDLS Plus, and 20-inch center-locking
wheels were all standard.
Completed on 16 May 2014, this Turbo S was finished in subdued GT
Silver Metallic-a hue chosen as the "communication color" for the
halo Carrera GT in 2004-over Black leather. Its factory
specification, which brought the original MSRP to $194,915, adds
the Burmester High-End Infotainment Package, ventilation for the
18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, an electric slide/tilt glass
sunroof, Porsche Entry & Drive, Power Steering Plus, the Light
Design Package, and painted headlamp washer covers. Carbon trim for
the dashboard, center console, and door panels is joined by an
Alcantara headliner, Porsche crests embossed in the headrests, and
silver seat belts. The car is also fitted with navigation,
ParkAssist with a reversing camera, and HomeLink.
The accompanying clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report opens when
Porsche Newport Beach sold the car new in September 2014. Its first
owner leased the Turbo S and titled it in Irvine, California,
before returning it in late 2015 with approximately 12,550 miles.
In January 2016, the car was purchased its second and current Long
Beach-based caretaker, who has retained it since and added only
about 6,400 miles in that time. Invoices on file document annual
services from 2016 onward at Circle Porsche in Long Beach, now
Porsche Long Beach, including major services with new spark plugs
in 2018 and 2022, an all-wheel-drive controller fluid service in
2023, and a 10-year service in 2024 that added a new drive belt and
tensioner. In 2023, Method Sound of Costa Mesa added an iDCORE
interface that brings Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the factory
PCM, together with a Kenwood front camera. Most recently, in
November 2025, Porsche Long Beach changed the oil, replaced the
coolant level sensor, and fitted four new Pirelli P Zero N0 tires
before completing a four-wheel alignment.
Now offered with just 19,051 original miles at the time of
cataloging, this Turbo S pairs the 991 generation's most potent
performance with a well-selected specification, a documented
two-owner history, and consistent dealer maintenance.
