Early history of unknown, until the 2000's when owned and cared for
by long term client of Autosport Designs living in Paris at the
time. In 2010, this DB6 Vantage was entrusted to
well-known and respected UK Aston Martin marque specialists RS
Williams Ltd for a complete restoration. The restoration included
various bespoke updates including its 4.7 liter Vantage
specification engine, suspension handling kit, telescopic rear
shock conversion, bespoke air conditioning and stereo systems. No
stone was left unturned, the workmanship and result can be seen
today, the DB6 Vantage still in superb-restored condition and with
only the slightest patina. The restoration cost at the time was
approximately $300,000 and it remains superb
throughout. Having relocated to the United States, New
York City, Autosport Designs, Inc. has been honored and continues
to maintain and store this DB6 Vantage for the eight years. Due to
a busy schedule, the DB6 was used and enjoyed for weekend day
trips, here on Long Island and only in seasonal weather conditions,
never in inclement weather and returned to Autosport Designs, for
immediate cleaning and storage once again. The client would perform
this exact exercise with his DBS, also restored and uprated by RSW,
continually alternating from one to the other. The DB6 Vantage has
received its yearly full-service maintenance regardless of use,
should anything have been noted on the day trip, it was looked at
immediately to keep this DB6 in its current exceptional condition
and ready for immediate use at a moment's
notice. September 2023 saw this DB6 Vantage having been
sold to its most recent collector ownership in the State of
Pennsylvania. Since, this DB6 Vantage has been used sparingly, less
than 1,000 miles. It has been serviced yearly to maintain in superb
condition and ready for immediate use. On a recent road
test, this DB6 Vantage performed without fault and can only be
labeled as a breathtaking Aston DB6 in comparison to the factory
original specification. Today, all systems are working as they
should and as originally intended by the factory when delivered new
or better than when new. Available with complete
documentation and ownership history from new, factory books,
original factory build sheet, this DB6 Vantage is most certainly
one of the finest examples of the model, anywhere.
