Cruisin Classics is pleased to present this 1972 Ford Mustang
Grande! This is a true survivor, showing just 26,560 actual miles
per title! Dressed in its original Dark Green Metallic paint,
complemented by light green pinstriping that runs the length of
both sides, this Mustang presents extremely well for its age, with
only minor imperfections here and there that are consistent with a
well-preserved original car. The Grande package brought a more
refined, luxury-oriented approach to the Mustang, emphasizing
comfort, quietness, and personal styling. This example features its
vinyl roof, metal rocker moldings, wheel-lip moldings, dual
body-colored side mirrors, and upgraded factory wheel covers. It
rides on its factory wheels wrapped in Hankook tires that, while
older, appear to have plenty of life remaining.
Open the door, and you'll find a beautifully preserved interior
featuring vinyl and cloth sport bucket seats in stunning condition,
appearing as though they've hardly been sat in. Integrated wood
grain trim throughout the doors, dashboard, and steering wheel adds
an upscale feel that sets the Grande apart. The dashboard,
carpeting, and headliner are all in great condition, while the
factory AM radio is equipped with an FM converter that works great.
All gauges look like new and function as they should, along with
the interior lighting. The windows operate properly, and all the
glass remains in fantastic shape. Overall, this is an exceptionally
clean and inviting interior that reflects the car's low-mileage,
survivor status.
Under the hood sits the original-looking 351ci V8, equipped with a
two-barrel carburetor, factory-rated at 177 horsepower and 285
lb-ft of torque, paired with a C4 automatic transmission. The
engine compartment maintains a highly original appearance, and
power steering makes this classic Mustang easier to maneuver. This
is a non-A/C, non-power-brake car, retaining its four-wheel drum
brakes with a dual-reservoir master cylinder. If you're looking for
a well-preserved early '70s Mustang that offers classic styling, V8
power, and an upscale Grande interior, this low-mileage survivor
deserves a closer look. Finding a Mustang of this era with such low
documented mileage and this level of originality is becoming
increasingly difficult.
