Here's a sharp 1959 Ford Thunderbird Convertible finished in gloss
black with a black power top and the factory 8X interior of black
textured-vinyl bolsters and white Sof-Textured vinyl inserts. It
rides on 15-inch wheels with factory covers and whitewalls. The
data tag shows this Wixom-built car was originally Colonial White.
The odometer reads 18,257 miles, though we cannot confirm whether
that is original. This is an older restoration that shows where a
few repairs have been made, and the body has a couple of minor
dings. The paint is driver quality with some chips, along the
chrome, brightwork and stainless. Both the driver and passenger
windows are cracked. The power top is in good shape and operates
easily. Under the hood sits the 352 cubic-inch OHV V8 rated at 300
horsepower, backed by a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic and a
3.10:1 rear end. This T-Bird runs great and cruises and shifts
smoothly on the road. Inside, the all-original interior is in good
condition, with nice front seats, carpet, headliner and door cards.
The only flaw is a small tear on the right side of the rear bench.
The power windows, wipers, and main gauges work. The fan and radio
are inop. This 1959 Thunderbird is a classic that can be enjoyed as
is, or taken to the next level. Call us at 763-434-6565 /
