On January 11, 1969. Beatrice, a high school student went to Wm. A, Gehman & Sons Chrysler-Plymouth in Emmaus, PA , and took delivery of a brand new 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner Convertible! Was it due to the fact that Motor Trend named the Roadrunner "Car of the Year" for 1969? Whatever it was that drew her to the car, it must have stuck because this beautiful car remained in her possession until this past Spring. The interior is original except for the items previously mentioned The dash is still crisp and bright showing very minimal wear along with the console. During the respray, the jambs were left alone and retain the assembly line lables and decals. This car has always been garage kept and covered and never punished with daily activity.
