The 1967 Chevrolet Corvette represents the absolute pinnacle and
the final year of the C2 (second generation) "Mid-Year" design.
Highly regarded by collectors as one of the most refined and
desirable Corvettes ever made, the 1967 model trimmed back exterior
ornamentation for a beautifully clean, aggressive
aesthetic.Chevrolet offered two small-block V8s and four legendary
427-cubic-inch big-block V8 engines for the 1967 model year:- 327
ci Small Block: Available in standard 300 hp or the high-output L79
variant producing 350 hp.- 427 ci Big-Block (L36 & L68):
Hydraulic-lifter versions putting out 390 hp and 400 hp
respectively.- 427 ci Big-Block (L71): Equipped with "Tri-Power"
(three two-barrel carburetors), solid lifters, and pumping out 435
hp.- 427 ci Big-Block (L88): A legendary, purpose-built racing
engine package. While officially rated at an underrated 430 hp to
discourage street buyers, it actually produced closer to 560 hp.
Only 20 factory L88 Corvettes were built in 1967, making them
multi-million dollar holy grails of the car collecting world.Key
