This custom 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a new
GM 540hp LS3 Hot Cam V-8 engine paired with a 4L70E four-speed
automatic overdrive transmission. Completed by Jeff Hayes Customs
in mid-September 2020, the build began with an original California
car. It features an Art Morrison Sport chassis and power steering.
Stopping power is handled by polished Wilwood six-piston front and
four-piston rear disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. The
exterior is finished in black and red with a new Haartz cloth
convertible top and a power-operated hood. The red leather interior
features a polished Lokar shifter, chrome Ididit steering column,
Billet Specialties steering wheel, power windows, and Vintage Air
heating and air conditioning. It rides on staggered custom 18-inch
front and 20-inch rear Schott wheels wrapped in Toyo red-line
tires.
