This 1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye is a sharp example of Dodge's
iconic E-body muscle car, combining classic styling with big-block
performance and a number of desirable upgrades. Finished in silver
with a matching silver roof and contrasting black interior, this
Challenger presents an aggressive yet refined appearance. The
silver paint shows well and is complemented by chrome bumpers,
distinctive Rallye styling, and 17-inch Boyd Coddington chrome
wheels wrapped in M+S 245/45R17 tires. Its low, muscular stance and
clean body lines give this Challenger an unmistakable presence.
Under the hood sits a 413ci V8 producing a reported 450 horsepower,
equipped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and paired with an
A-727 TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission. Power is
delivered to the rear wheels through a 3.33 rear gear ratio. The
engine compartment has received a new wiring harness, and the car
has recently undergone a fresh tune-up. Additional features include
a new brake booster system, power steering, and power front disc
brakes, providing improved drivability and stopping
performance.
Inside, the Challenger features a black bucket-seat interior that
retains its classic Mopar character while benefiting from several
recent improvements. Updates include a new dashboard, seats,
headliner, and carpeting, giving the cabin a refreshed appearance.
The center console houses the automatic floor shifter, while the
factory-style instrumentation and woodgrain accents maintain the
vintage muscle car atmosphere. The car is also equipped with
functioning heat.
This 1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye offers an appealing combination
of classic Mopar styling, substantial big-block horsepower, and
thoughtful mechanical and cosmetic improvements. With its silver
exterior, refreshed black interior, upgraded braking system, and
powerful 413ci V8, this Challenger is an excellent choice for
someone seeking a distinctive American muscle car to enjoy on the
road or display at local car shows.
