Chevrolets built between 1955 and 1957 are the epitome of American
classic cars. With their beautiful chrome trim, unique two-tone
paint jobs and famous Jet-Age hood ornament, these cars are
fantastic to look at and a prime base to start a hot-rod or pro
touring build. This 1956 Chevrolet 210 2-Door Hardtop is finished
in a stunning two-tone scheme of Tangerine with India Ivory accents
on the roof, trunk and side stinger. In 2006, this car was subject
to a refurbishment, at which time it also received some very nice
modifications to make it look and drive better. The ride height has
been dropped by 2-inches and features a nice rake for a slightly
racier look and sits on a set of chrome 15-inch Cragar S/S wheels
with 205 section front wheels and 245 section rears. Additionally,
a set of disc brakes sit behind the front wheels for improved
stopping power. The interior is also a full custom build with the
split-folding front bench and rear bench seat all upholstered in
white vinyl with orange piping and Chevrolet bowtie logos
embroidered on the seat backs in the same orange. In front of the
driver sits a Grant 3-spoke steering wheel on a tilt column, and a
set of AutoMeter gauges in the space of the original cluster. The
dashboard is painted to match the exterior, which is accented by
chrome trim across the panel. Under the hood sits a 327ci V8 topped
by an Edelbrock Performer EPS intake manifold with a matching
Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor on top. This carburetor is topped by a
chrome Chevrolet-branded air cleaner, and a Mallory Unilite
distributor handles the spark. The engine bay has been upgraded
with chrome valve covers and red plug wires and an aluminum
radiator with a polished coolant overflow container keeps the car
cool. Coated Rodworks headers give the car a great sound and flow
into a true-dual exhaust system. Power is sent through a 700R4
4-speed automatic gearbox to the rear wheels. Offered in an
outstanding color scheme and with a nice group of upgrades, this
Chevy 210 Coupe presents a great opportunity to own one of the most
sought after American classics. *- - - * For more information on
