Packard’s evolutionary approach to design reached new heights in 1934 with the introduction of its Eleventh Series. Retaining the formal character that had long defined the marque, the Eleventh-Series Packards were split between three models: the Eight, Super Eight, and Twelve. These three unique series were produced on nine different wheelbases, availability varying based on the model. Widely regarded as one of the finest pre-war Packards and the last year all models were "Senior" variants, the Super Eight Coupe Roadster is a particularly handsome and exceedingly rare example of this vaunted design.

The two-passenger Coupe Roadster was based on a distinctive semi-custom design supplied by LeBaron in 1931. Its most striking feature is the convertible top, which folds neatly into the body and sits flush when lowered, preserving the car’s exceptionally clean lines while a rakish rumble seat enhances its sporting character and open-air touring versatility. The upright Packard radiator remains the visual focal point, framed by sweeping front fenders and beautifully proportioned bodywork. Beneath the long hood is Packard’s smooth-running 384ci Inline-8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission. The chassis further benefits from Packard’s advanced engineering, including adjustable Ride Control suspension and Bijur automatic lubrication, making this imposing automobile remarkably refined and usable for its era.

The magnificent 1934 Packard Super Eight Coupe Roadster featured here is finished in highly desirable and sought-after Packard Green over Black with a gorgeous Sable Brown leather interior with a Tan folding convertible top. This investment-grade Super Eight Roadster underwent a show-quality, body-off restoration and has been driven just 983 miles since completion. This represents an incredible opportunity to acquire one of the best examples we've seen come to market in years! Offered to the investment-minded collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own the very best an investment price!
