Clean, Low-Mileage Modern Mach 1
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 brought one of Ford's most
recognizable performance names back to the Mustang lineup,
positioned as a serious naturally aspirated performance model with
hardware developed from Ford's higher-performance Mustang programs.
This Oxford White example has traveled just 3,719 miles and
combines the Mach 1's performance-focused chassis with the
convenience and speed of Ford's 10-speed SelectShift automatic
transmission.
Power comes from Ford's 5.0-liter DOHC Ti-VCT V8, backed by the
optional 10-speed automatic. From the factory, the Mach 1 received
substantially more than cosmetic changes. Standard equipment listed
on the original window sticker includes an active valve performance
exhaust, Brembo brakes, MagneRide damping, TORSEN limited-slip
differential, engine oil cooler, heavy-duty front springs, unique
suspension tuning and additional cooling and aerodynamic
hardware.
This car was ordered in Oxford White and wears the unmistakable
Mach 1 graphics package with a broad black hood stripe outlined by
a red accent and matching lower-body graphics. The combination
works especially well with the dark-finish Mach 1 wheels, black
aerodynamic trim and red-painted Brembo brake calipers. The
exterior also features the model-specific grille, front fascia,
lower splitter, rear diffuser and unique rear spoiler.
The staggered performance tire setup reinforces the Mach 1's
track-focused nature. Photos show 275/40ZR19 Michelin tires up
front and 305/35ZR19 tires at the rear, giving the car a properly
wide footprint. The tires carry 2021 date codes in the photos,
consistent with the car's model year.
Inside, the Mach 1 retains a largely factory appearance with Ebony
cloth sport seating, the configurable 12-inch digital LCD
instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control,
push-button start, SYNC 3 infotainment and a center-mounted gauge
package. One noticeable upgrade is the performance-style steering
wheel featuring carbon-fiber-look construction, perforated grips,
red stitching and a red center marker.
The original window sticker documents an MSRP of $57,180, including
the optional 10-speed automatic transmission, 3.55 TORSEN rear
axle, Mach 1 side stripe, black stripe with red accent and
red-painted brake calipers. The sticker also lists a
dealer-installed full vehicle cover.
The trunk remains cleanly finished and includes neatly integrated
audio equipment positioned along the sides while retaining useful
cargo space.
With fewer than 4,000 miles, desirable Oxford White paint, the
10-speed automatic and the full suite of factory Mach 1 performance
equipment, this example offers a compelling combination of modern
usability and naturally aspirated Mustang performance. It delivers
the styling and heritage expected from the Mach 1 name while
incorporating the braking, cooling, suspension and aerodynamic
upgrades that separate the model from a standard Mustang GT.
