1978 GMC 1500 High Sierra - What initially caught our eye and got our juices flowing on this 78 GMC High Sierra was the rare Seamist Green! A round-eye squarebody short bed in a unique color will always get our attention. A strong point for us was that the engine, transmission, and rear end had all been recently rebuilt. After the GMC was acquired in TN and driven to TX (without a single issue), it received a lot of attention before we ever snapped the first photo. As you can see the truck has a great stance thanks to a drop kit, restored wheels and new rubber. The brakes, a/c system, ball joints, seats, tail lights, trim, exhaust, fuel system, door seats and front/rear glass are all new! Additional features and options include, 350 V8, Auto, A/C, Edelbrock Valve Covers, Edelbrock BellTech 4/6" Drop, Chrome Mirrors, Chrome Bumpers, Rubber Floor Mats, Owners Manual, Factory AM/FM Radio, 15" Factory Steel Wheels, & New BF Goodrich Radial T/A Tires! Needless to say, the end result is a real head turner and should be a definite consideration for a collection of any size.
