This 1968 Plymouth GTX is a TRUE GTX 'RS23' code car, finished in
Ember Gold Metallic with a black vinyl interior. This GTX is an
older restoration that still turns heads, has been well maintained,
and is fun to drive. The paint on this GTX has its share of
imperfections, but it still shines well. Chrome and brightwork are
also in good condition and accent this vehicle nicely. The body is
good, and the lines flow beautifully from front to back. Under the
hood is a 440 CID Super Cammando V8 with an Edelbrock carb and
intake, and factory A/C. Power meets the pavement with a Torque
Flight 727 3-speed automatic and Sure Grip rear axle with 3.23
gears. Underneath, it tells an honest story: solid floors, a dual
exhaust with an H-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers that sound every bit
as good as they look, and factory power brakes and steering for a
fun drive. Inside, the black interior stays true to 1968 with the
original-style dash, full gauges, and that big three-spoke steering
wheel. Dash, door panels, headliner, seats, and carpeting are all
in great shape. The retrofit stereo is a nice blend of original
look and modern sound. This great-running, driving Plymouth GTX
would make a fine addition to any car collection! Call us at
