This beautiful 1941 Chevrolet AK Series ½-ton pickup has been in our family for over 30 years. It was completely refurbished in 2017 by family members, who turned it into a reliable, eye-catching cruiser. Finished in two-tone red with navy blue fenders and running boards, it has a classic pre-war look, a wood plank bed floor, and freshly re-chromed bumpers. The cab has a custom tan and red vinyl bench seat, a top-hinged opening windshield, and added seatbelts.
Under the skin, the truck was built to be driven and enjoyed. The rebuilt 216ci inline-six (2016) is paired with a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission (2016) and a 12-volt electrical conversion. A Mustang II front end, power steering, and power-assisted front disc brakes make it far easier to drive than a stock truck of its era. It just had a fresh oil change in December 2025 and comes with a clean Arizona title in the owner's name.
In the interest of full transparency, the fuel gauge is not currently working and the under-dash heater is missing its internal components. The odometer reads 80k miles but was disconnected during the 2017 refurbishment, so the true mileage is unknown. This is a turn-key truck for cruising, car shows, or Saturday-morning coffee runs, and it's ready for its next family.
