1995 Saturn SW2 Wagon - 29K Miles - Time Capsule
The 1995 Saturn SW2 represents a unique piece of 1990s American
automotive history, and finding one today in this level of
preservation is becoming increasingly difficult. With just 29k
well-cared-for miles, this exceptionally original SW2 is about as
close as you can get to stepping back into a Saturn showroom in the
mid-1990s. Clean, honest, remarkably preserved and ready to drive,
this is a true time-capsule example.
Finished in its original Medium Blue Green Metallic paint, the
exterior presents beautifully and retains the unmistakable styling
that made the early Saturn S-Series so recognizable. The paint has
an impressive shine, and the car remains stock throughout, right
down to its original 4-lug wheels, which are wrapped in newer
Mastercraft tires. The only notable departure from factory
configuration is the removable roof luggage rack, which adds a
little extra utility and can easily be taken off if the next owner
prefers the completely stock appearance.
The condition underneath is equally impressive for a nearly
32-year-old vehicle. This Saturn was always garage-kept during the
winter, helping preserve the body and chassis exceptionally well.
The underside remains remarkably clean and solid, as the photos
show, and the car was recently undercoated to help preserve it for
years to come.
Inside is an exceptionally well-preserved gray cloth interior that
further reflects the car's incredibly low mileage. The seats,
carpeting, dashboard, door panels and controls all present
extremely well with very little evidence of wear. The cabin remains
largely untouched and retains the simple, functional layout that
defined Saturn's early years. Even the original Saturn radio
remains in place. Everything works as it should, making this not
only a collectible survivor but also a completely usable
classic.
Under the hood is Saturn's 1.9-liter DOHC Twin Cam four-cylinder
engine, paired with an automatic transmission. With only 29,000
miles, the drivetrain has seen remarkably little use, and the car
runs and drives excellent. It has also been recently serviced and
maintained, giving the next owner a turn-key wagon that's ready to
get in and enjoy.
This SW2 has had just three owners since new and was originally
sold new in New York. It comes with a clean CARFAX and a clean bill
of health, further supporting the careful ownership and
preservation evident throughout the car.
What makes this Saturn special isn't simply its mileage-it's the
complete package. So many S-Series Saturns were inexpensive daily
transportation that accumulated heavy mileage, endured harsh
winters, or were simply used up and discarded. Finding an original
