Description:
This 1993 Dodge Viper RT/10 was previously owned by Sony Pictures
Television, and it is reported to have been used on set by Pamela
Anderson while starring as Valley Irons in the American television
series V.I.P. around the turn of the century. Repainted in red over
replacement red upholstery, the car is powered by an 8.0-liter V10
paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The car was acquired
in 2026 by the selling dealer, who tells us that modifications for
television production purposes include a line-lock system, a raised
suspension, and underbody camera mounts.
Interior:
The bucket seats have been reupholstered in red, and the dashboard
has been refinished in gray. The three-spoke leather-wrapped
steering wheel sits ahead of a white-dial 180-mph speedometer and a
matching tachometer, while a quartet of auxiliary gauges is housed
in the center of the dashboard.
Exterior:
The first-generation Viper was designed in-house at Chrysler by Tom
Gale and utilizes composite body panels over a tubular steel
space-frame chassis, and this example has been repainted in red.
Later-model-style 18? wheels were mounted with 275/35 front and
335/30 rear Pirelli tires in August 2019.
Drivetrain:
The 8.0-liter OHV V10 was factory rated at 400 horsepower and 450
lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec
T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip
differential.
