Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 2018 Ford Mustang GT
Coupe for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. Finished in Magnetic
Metallic over an Ebony cloth interior, this GT shows 28,500 miles
and has been transformed into a professionally built twin-turbo
street car. Its documented build centers around a resleeved Gen 3
Coyote, Hellion twin-turbo system, upgraded fuel and driveline
components, and a tuned 10R80 automatic. Dyno documentation shows a
peak output of 1,019.46 wheel horsepower at 16.36 PSI.
Exterior:
The Magnetic Metallic exterior is complemented by an Anderson
Composites carbon-fiber trunk lid, Cervini front grille with the
intercooler exposed, custom front lip/splitter, Euro-style
taillights, and Euro side markers. The original window sticker also
documents this Mustang as a factory GT Performance Package car with
spoiler delete.
Interior:
Inside, the Mustang retains its Ebony cloth bucket-seat interior
and features a carbon-fiber steering wheel. The digital odometer
shows 28,500 miles. The audio system has been extensively upgraded
with a replacement receiver, speakers, amplifiers, vehicle
integration, custom amp rack, Rockford Fosgate T400X4AD amplifier,
and iDatalink Maestro integration.
Engine:
The heart of the build is a Texas Speed resleeved Gen 3 5.0L Coyote
short block with 12:1 compression and a reported 1,500+ horsepower
capability. The build includes Darton sleeves, a Ford Performance
Boss forged crankshaft, Manley 4340 Pro Series I-beam rods with
ARP2000 hardware, custom Manley pistons, 9310 wrist pins, ARP main
and head studs, King bearings, Boundary assembled oil pump, Ford
Performance Ti-VCT drive components, and Cometic MLX head gaskets.
The cylinder heads were also decked/resurfaced.
Boost comes from a Hellion twin-turbo system with twin 62mm
turbochargers. Fuel delivery is handled by a KPM
1,500-horsepower-capable PWM return-style fuel system and Injector
Dynamics ID1300X injectors. Custom E85 and 91-octane calibrations
were performed by Rob "Tunemaker" Shoemaker.
Dynojet documentation records five power levels:
683.62 WHP at 5.88 PSI
700.00 WHP at 9.12 PSI
886.24 WHP at 11.31 PSI
934.09 WHP at 12.92 PSI
1,019.46 WHP at 16.36 PSI
Transmission:
Power is sent through the 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission,
with transmission behavior and boost control incorporated into the
custom tuning.
Drivetrain:
Supporting the four-digit power output is a DSS carbon-fiber
driveshaft and G-Force upgraded rear half-shafts. The original
window sticker documents a factory 3.55-ratio limited-slip rear
axle.
Wheels and Tires:
Street duty is handled by Forgestar F14 Super Deep Concave wheels
in a brushed-metal finish, measuring 20x11 front and 20x12 rear.
They wear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires sized 285/30R20 front
and 325/30R20 rear. A pair of 17x10 Weld rear drag wheels with
Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S 305/45R17 drag radials is also
documented with the build.
Suspension:
The chassis features BMR front and rear sway bars, Steeda Dual Rate
Ultimate Handling springs, adjustable Pro-Action shocks and struts,
camber plates, billet rear shock mounts, sway-bar end links,
upgraded front control arms, lateral links, bump-steer correction,
and a Steeda Stop the Hop Ultimate Handling kit with IRS bracing,
toe links, and upgraded rear lower control arms.
Exhaust:
A Corsa Xtreme exhaust system with cat-delete race pipes completes
the combination. Due to its current performance modifications, this
Mustang is no longer 50-state emissions compliant.
Documentation:
The Mustang comes with its copy of the window sticker along with
documentation supporting the performance build and dyno
results.
The 2018 Ford Mustang GT will be sold on a clean Arizona title.
