GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this excellent condition 1981
Chevrolet Corvette for your consideration. This Corvette comes
finished in its original Silver and Blue exterior over a Blue
interior. Powering this Corvette is a 350 cubic inch V8 paired with
an automatic transmission. Showing just 52,007 original miles, this
Corvette has been repainted in its original color with the body
removed from the frame during the repaint process. This example has
also received a fresh oil change and comes equipped with some great
features such as; a power antenna, chambered exhaust system,
removable T-tops, power windows, flip-up headlights, power locks,
rear stow-away compartments, four-wheel disc brakes, numerous
gauges, and more. The combination of its low original mileage,
excellent condition, desirable color combination, and classic C3
Corvette styling makes this a great example of an early-1980s
Corvette. Drive this one out of our showroom or have us assist with
shipping it to you anywhere in the United States! Don't hesitate to
call us with any questions or for more information.
The 1981 Chevrolet Corvette was part of the third-generation C3
Corvette, which had been in production since 1968. For 1981,
Chevrolet continued to offer the Corvette in its iconic two-door
sports car configuration, featuring removable T-top roof panels and
the distinctive long hood and short rear deck that defined the C3
generation. The 1981 model year marked an important period in
Corvette history, as production took place at both the St. Louis
and newly opened Bowling Green, Kentucky assembly facilities. The
Corvette continued to feature a small-block V8, independent
suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and a driver-focused instrument
layout. With its fiberglass body, concealed headlights, T-top roof,
and unmistakable styling, the 1981 Corvette remains a recognizable
example of the classic C3 era.
