The Lamborghini Aventador LP770-4 SVJ emerged as the ultimate
expression of the Aventador lineage in 2018, crafted as a fitting
finale for a model line that had defined Lamborghini's flagship
offerings since its 2011 debut. The designation combined "SV" for
Super Veloce with "J" for Jota-a historic nomenclature reserved for
Lamborghini's most track-focused variants. This dedication to
circuit supremacy was emphatically demonstrated when factory driver
Marco Mapelli piloted a camouflaged Aventador SVJ to a production
car lap record of 6:44.97.01 at the Nrburgring Nordschleife,
eclipsing the previous record-holding Porsche 911 GT2 RS by more
than two seconds.
This remarkable achievement was enabled by comprehensive technical
improvements across every aspect of the Aventador's architecture.
The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine was enhanced with
titanium intake valves and optimized intake runners, delivering 759
horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque-a 19 horsepower and 21 lb-ft
increase over the previous SV model. The SVJ also showcased
Lamborghini's ALA (Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva) system, which
surpassed the capabilities first seen on the Huracn Performante.
The exterior featured an intricate array of active aerodynamic
elements, including a wider multilevel front splitter, broader
rocker panels, sophisticated air extractors, and an adjustable rear
wing.
Unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the open-top SVJ Roadster
enjoyed all of the coupe's record-setting performance enhancements
but additionally featured a targa-style removable two-piece hard
top made from carbon fiber. Although the Roadster weighed
approximately 100 more pounds than the coupe, the performance
critically remained almost identical: Lamborghini claimed that the
SVJ Roadster could sprint from zero-to-62 mph in just 2.9 seconds,
and reach an estimated top speed of 217 mph.
Even among the 800 zero-compromise examples produced, this 2021
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster stands apart, and one look at
its stunning Verde Ermes finish will reveal why. The paint is
resplendent regardless of lighting; a refined dark green in the
shade, but revealed to contain a glistening metallic flake in
bright conditions. Priced at $14,800 alone, this distinct Ad
Personam finish was married to an equally bespoke Nero Cosmus
Alcantara interior as part of an arsenal of premium options
amounting to more than $100,000 according to its digital window
sticker. Additional premium highlights include the Style Package
that adds additional carbon fiber trim to the exterior, Carbon Skin
Package that applies the same carbon fiber treatment inside the
cockpit, Bronze accents inside and out, electric heated seats, and
the Lamborghini Sensonum premium audio system.
This impeccably-specified SVJ Roadster was delivered new to
Lamborghini San Diego in early 2021. According to its clean CARFAX
Vehicle History Report, the SVJ Roadster moved to Wisconsin by
December of that year, with subsequent ownership reported in New
Jersey and most recently in Utah. The rare Aventador's last major
service was performed by Lamborghini Philadelphia in September
2025.
Today, this SVJ Roadster comes furnished with its owner's handbooks
and is offered with just 3,712 miles at cataloging, which were
determined to be original during a requested mileage verification
inspection at Salt Lake City Motorcars.
Positively radiant in its rare Verde Ermes finish and generously
equipped with an array of premium appointments, this 2012
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster is unmistakably destined to
command attention. Its verified low mileage certainly makes it a
compelling candidate for a discerning stable of top-tier supercars,
with the occasional top-down outing to exclusive Sunday supercar
gatherings. Yet, the SVJ is equally suited to be driven in earnest
at any prominent racetrack, where its driver can experience the
unbridled thrill of its screaming V12 and sophisticated ALA active
aerodynamics at their best.
