1966 Chevrolet Nova SS V-8 Resto-Mod JJ Rods LLC is proud to
present this beautifully transformed SS V-8, an original SS that
has been completely reimagined as a modern Resto-Mod while
retaining the unmistakable character and presence that made these
cars legendary. Finished in a stunning Regal Red, this build
combines classic muscle-car styling with serious modern
performance, upgraded handling, braking, cooling and comfort. Under
the hood is a 408 cubic-inch ATK LSX stroker V-8 equipped with
Holley Sniper EFI and a CVF carbon-fiber pulley system. The engine
is backed by a TCI Super Street Fighter 700R4 automatic
transmission built for the performance of this combination, with
approximately 750 horsepower on tap. A CBR aluminum radiator with
dual electric fans keeps everything under control, while the
Restomod Tanks EFI fuel system supplies the engine with the fuel it
needs. This car was built to be more than something that simply
looks good sitting still. The chassis and suspension have been
extensively upgraded with CBR components, including subframe
connectors, upper and lower control arms, front and rear sway bars,
transmission crossmember and a complete 4-link system. The car has
been DSE mini-tubbed and fitted with Viking adjustable coilovers
front and rear. Steering is handled by a CBR rack-and-pinion
system, while the rear is equipped with a Quick Performance
housing, 35-spline axles and 3.50 gears. Stopping power comes from
Wilwood disc brakes with hydroboost, giving this SS the braking
capability to match its substantial horsepower. CBR headers feed
into a custom 3-inch stainless-steel X-pipe exhaust with Borla
mufflers, giving the car the aggressive sound you would expect from
a serious muscle-car Resto-Mod. The exterior has been finished in a
beautiful Regal Red that gives this classic SS a fresh, purposeful
appearance without losing its original character. Details such as
the Ring Brothers hood hinges add to the quality and attention to
detail throughout the build. Custom Budnik Argon wheels, measuring
17x7 up front and an aggressive 18x12 in the rear, are wrapped in
Toyo Proxes tires and give the car the stance this build deserves.
Inside, the transformation continues with an all-new interior, new
glass, Vintage Air and new rubber seals throughout the doors, hood
and trunk. Dynamat has been installed on both the top and bottom
sides for improved sound control and driving comfort. The
electrical system has also been completely addressed with Painless
Wiring. The result is an SS that looks like a classic muscle car
but drives with the performance, control and comfort expected from
a professionally built Resto-Mod. From the 408 LSX stroker and
750-horsepower combination to the CBR chassis upgrades, Viking
coilovers, Wilwood brakes and custom Budnik wheels, no major part
of the car was overlooked. Price $92,500
