This Light Poly Blue Sport Fury Convertible is one of only 3,418
produced in 1966. The Sport Fury was the Premium offering in this
series, the convertible being the most rare. This lovely example
has been well cared for and maintained by its previous owner for
many years.
The engine benefitted from a complete rebuild, the steering was
upgraded to a Borgeson power quick-ratio unit, the brakes have been
updated to power front discs, the A/C has an improved rotary style
compressor and uses modern refrigerant.
The 15" American Racing Torque Thrust wheels have been added along
with a deep toned dual exhaust system which provides just the right
amount of attitude. The interior boasts factory bucket seats with
center console, full instrumentation and AM-FM radio. The power top
has been upgraded to a Stayfast cloth material complete with its
matching dark blue boot. The trunk compartment has been tastefully
upholstered in deep pile carpeting throughout.
This is a rare find and is ready to enjoy, we have known and
serviced this car for many years and have found to be an excellent
example of this generation of premium full sized convertibles.
