This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is a thoroughly developed Pro Touring
build that combines first-generation Camaro styling with a modern
supercharged LT4 powertrain, upgraded chassis hardware, substantial
braking capability and a carefully finished interior.
The body is finished in vivid Hugger Orange, with the paint
completed in 2026. Black LT4-inspired graphics run along the front
fenders and doors, while front and rear spoilers give the car a
more aggressive profile. The exterior was further refreshed with
smoked glass, new chrome window moldings, new bumpers, new side
markers, new taillights, new mirrors and new door handles.
Under the hood is a rebuilt LT4 V8 featuring forged pistons, a
Brian Tooley Racing Stage 3 supercharged camshaft, DOD delete and a
locked phaser. Engine management is handled through a Holley
Terminator X Max system, while a Holley accessory drive system
organizes the front drive components. The engine bay is cleanly
presented, and the LT4 installation gives this Camaro the kind of
powerplant expected in a serious contemporary Pro Touring
build.
Exhaust gases are routed through stainless headers into a full
3-inch stainless exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The
combination should give the car the sound and flow capacity
appropriate for the supercharged LT4 setup.
Power is sent through a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission.
Supporting hardware includes a McLeod dual-disc clutch, QuickTime
scatter shield, hydraulic clutch system and a carbon-fiber
driveshaft fitted with 1350 billet yokes. At the rear is a narrowed
12-bolt housing equipped with 3.73 gearing, an Eaton Positraction
differential and Moser axles.
The chassis was built to match the powertrain. A Detroit Speed
mini-tub allows the Camaro to accommodate its wide rear
wheel-and-tire combination, while QA1 hardware is used extensively
throughout the suspension. Up front are QA1 control arms, coilovers
and sway bar. The rear utilizes a QA1 4-link arrangement with QA1
coilovers, and QA1 subframe connectors further tie the structure
together.
Braking is handled by a large Wilwood system consisting of 6-piston
front calipers over 14-inch rotors and 4-piston rear calipers over
13-inch rotors. The photos also show drilled and slotted brake
rotors, giving the chassis substantial stopping hardware to match
the rest of the build.
Forgeline GA3 wheels complete the stance. The front setup measures
18x8 with 225/40ZR18 BFGoodrich g-Force Comp-2 A/S tires, while the
rear uses 18x12 wheels carrying massive 335/30ZR18 BFGoodrich
g-Force Rival S rubber. Combined with the mini-tub and lowered
suspension, the fitment gives the Camaro an aggressive but properly
proportioned Pro Touring appearance.
Inside, the car blends classic Camaro styling with upgraded comfort
and instrumentation. Distinctive Industries front seats are trimmed
in a deluxe black-and-white houndstooth pattern that continues into
the rear seating area. A three-spoke steering wheel, manual shifter
and black interior retain the classic flavor, while Dakota Digital
gauges modernize the driver information display.
Additional interior upgrades include Vintage Air Gen V climate
control and a Detroit Speed windshield-wiper system. The photos
also show a Holley Terminator handheld display mounted near the
shifter, providing direct access to engine-management data.
Overall, this 1969 Camaro is a serious, component-rich Pro Touring
build. The rebuilt LT4, TKO 600 5-speed, carbon-fiber driveshaft,
narrowed 12-bolt, QA1 suspension, Wilwood braking system, Forgeline
wheels and freshly finished Hugger Orange exterior come together in
a Camaro built for significantly more than static display.
