1970 Dodge Charger 500 - 440/727 - Plum Crazy 1970 Dodge Charger
500 finished in Plum Crazy with white vinyl top, white interior,
and white stripe. Originally triple green, it received an amateur
restoration around 2018 and has seen minimal use since. Powered by
a non-original 440 V8 and 727 automatic, with column shift and
buddy seat. Driver-quality body and paint with some quarter-panel
blisters, filler, paint chips, and storage dings. Frame rails and
torsion bar areas are original and solid. Front floor pan, trunk
pan, and roof have been replaced. Runs, drives, and stops reliably.
Recent service includes a new master cylinder and rear wheel
cylinders, water pump, thermostat, fan clutch, carburetor, fuel
filter, fresh oil, and transmission service. Manual brakes with
front discs. Nice interior with new seat covers and foam, door
panels, headliner, and carpet. 6-way driver's seat. Dual exhaust
with H-pipe and glass packs sounds great without being excessive.
15-inch cop wheels with 235/60 fronts and 275/60 rears. There are
several known issues, including minor oil and ATF leaks, rear-end
bearing noise, no kickdown linkage, some electrical and trim
issues, and no radio or HVAC. Vinyl top has some light lifting.
Clean South Dakota title in seller's name. VIN matches the title,
fender tag, dash, and core support. Best described as a #3
driver-quality car with its known issues disclosed. Important
