This is a highly original, never-customized 1948 Ford F-1, the first year of Ford's F-Series. It was originally sold in California and has lived its whole life in California and Arizona. The odometer shows approximately 66,000 miles, which is believed to be original but cannot be fully verified. The drivetrain, stainless trim, rims, and 6-volt electrical system are all original to the truck. Documented ownership history is available, including prior owners and location records.
This is not a show truck, and it isn't a time-capsule survivor either. It was repainted in the early 1990s and the paint has been left alone since, so it wears its age honestly. The interior has been fully redone. What it is: a solid, mechanically sound driver that has had extensive, documented work to make it reliable and correct, without hot-rodding or modernizing it.
