This 1974 Jeep CJ-5 has received extensive mechanical repairs and upgrades, including a front suspension rebuild and alignment, power-steering repairs, and brake-system work with replacement hoses, rear wheel cylinders, and a rear brake line. Steering improvements include a tilt column and Grant three-spoke steering wheel.
Additional work includes replacement fuel hoses and filter, conversion to an electric choke, and repairs to the fuel and temperature gauges, brake lights, heater/defroster, and parking brake. The rear axle was converted from a locked setup to an open differential. A replacement radio and removal of unused audio wiring round out the improvements.
