This 1969 Chevelle really stands out from all of the rest with its
desirable factory color, code 55 Azure Turquoise with factory black
SS stripes running down both sides The body is straight from every
angle and the fit and finish is excellent. The paint is very smooth
and glossy. The front bumper, grill bezels, SS emblems, door
handles, mirrors and lenses have all been replaced. In the back
there are all new trim and emblems. The rear bumper looks good as
well. It has all new door seals and weather seals. This Chevelle
sits on a set of SS wheels with a set of Firestone Wide Oval radial
tires for that original look it deserves.
The engine compartment is nicely detailed with its-correct CE
(Counter Exchange) 396 ci/375 hp motor, casting number 3955272,
factory chrome valve covers and a chrome open element air cleaner
with chrome lid. It also features power front disc brakes, power
steering and a dual feed Holley carburetor with factory correct
dual feed fuel line, 4 core radiator and factory fan shroud,
factory exhaust manifolds and factory power steering The engine
compartment is nicely painted with a satin black finish.
The black bucket seat interior is in good shape and the headliner
is in good shape. There are new sill plates, door panels and
armrests, newer window cranks and door handles. The dash looks good
and sports a factory tachometer and gauges, AM radio. It has a
Hurst 4-speed shifter coming out of the floor with correct shift
boot and retainer. It has a set of aftermarket floor mats, factory
seat belts front and back.
The undercarriage is all clean metal. The front suspension and
steering components look good. Looking up at the motor it is very
clean and so is the Muncie M22 4-speed transmission. That throaty
rumble comes from a 2.5" dual exhaust system that runs out the back
with the correct cowbell tips. It features a 12 bolt KK code 4:10
posi rear end. The E-brake assembly is complete and working.
The condition, color and features of this Chevelle make it one of
