1971 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible - Numbers-Matching 350/270
Long-term owned since approximately 1996, this 1971 Corvette
convertible is powered by its numbers-matching 350/270 V8 backed by
a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Originally Mulsanne Blue with
Dark Blue interior, the car is now finished in white with a white
convertible top and Dark Blue interior. Recent paint correction and
touch-up work has addressed most of the cosmetic flaws.
Factory-equipped with A/C, power steering, power brakes, and
tilt/telescopic steering. The A/C has been serviced with a new
compressor. The 350 runs well, the Turbo 400 shifts strongly, and
the gauges and vacuum-operated accessories are functional. The
suspension was rebuilt with powder-coated components and
polyurethane bushings. Corvette Rally wheels with BFGoodrich Radial
T/A tires complete the look. The odometer was reset when the
speedometer was professionally restored; actual mileage is
estimated at approximately 44,000 miles based on ownership history.
