This 1965 Chevy C20 Custom is a really clean and cool 60's era C20 that spent its life in Arizona. The last owner had the truck fro around 10 years or so and kept it well maintained to use as a weekend driver. The body on this truck is clean and straight and all of the metal appears to be original with the exception of the passenger inner and outer rocker which was professionally replaced. The original paint code was 507 on this truck which is light blue. When someone restored the truck years ago it was repainted Ivory (526 Chevy Paint Code) with Ermine White (521 Chevy Paint Code) accents on the roof/cab and side trim. The paint still looks great! The chrome and trim all look excellent and they appear to be original. The inside of the bed has chrome strips with wood in good shape. The underside is also super clean and we found no rust issues with this truck.

The interior is also in great condition. This truck has the Z62 Comfort and Convenience package which includes the passenger visor, passenger door lock, deluxe seat, armrests, cab insulation and factory undercoating. When this truck was repainted the inside of the cab was also repainted using the correct colors. It has a newer vinyl floor mat and the seat was professionally reupholstered and looks new. The dash was also repainted and the dash bezel is original and nice. The instrument cluster was swapped form a larger truck that had air brakes so the air gauge is inop and the tach is also not working. The rest of the gauges work. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The horn, heat, and windshield wipers work.

Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives great. The engine is believed to be the original 5.3L 327 V8. The engine code is F0506HC which decodes as a 1965 327 V8 250HP engine. It appears to have been rebuilt because the Vin was shaved from the pad. It still has the factory valve covers, 4 Barrel intake, and Rochester Carb. The engine compartment and engine have a very original look. It also has an old school battery switch that allowed a 2nd battery to be used. It has the sm420 4 Speed Manual Transmission that shifts great with a strong clutch. The rear axle has been upgraded to a 14 Bolt full floater with 4.10 gears which is a HD axle. This truck does have power brakes which the last owner had gone through at some point as it has a newer booster and master cylinder. This is all sitting on an 80's style set of 16 Inch Wheels with hubcaps and 235/75/16 tires.
