1940 Studebaker Champion Two-Door front bench seat no rear seats. Has a shelf where the back seat would be. Still a 6-volt system. New battery this year. Owned vehicle since 1974 came from California. Everything is as original as possible. Took out mechanical fuel pump and put electric fuel pump in. Motor was completely rebuilt in 1975. I would say it only has $1 to 2,000 mi on it. Most of the time stored in a barn full of hay with a wood floor. There's one picture with a small hole down by the gas pedal. Nothing has been replaced with panels. All original body panels. 2 years ago I put all new brake shoes, wheel cylinders, front brake lines, tune up headliner and door panels and the wood flooring in the trunk.
Has all four hubcaps I would say in 80% condition. Taken to several shows in my local area.
Does have some oil leaks that need to be addressed yet? I changed the water pump and it's leaking out of the front of the water pump. I may have bought a bad one. The set of front spring should be replaced or at least some of them. I'm retired and have arthritis. I cannot continue to work on this car. It's ready to go but it still needs final touches. Also have a complete stainless steel exhaust that needs to be put on at a shop with a bender does not fit completely right as is that cost $1,000. Depending on the price offered will depend on what you get with it. I have lots of extra parts. Two rear fenders extra carburetors distributor generator The list goes on and on lots of small parts. The horn needs to be finished. I added a horn button to pass inspection. I do have the heater box that goes under the dash and never installed it as I live in New York and I don't drive it in the winter. Anyway. I have three keys, the trunk and door does lock. There's a new glove compartment box. Some of the wiring is original. Has a new fan belt and top radiator hose. Comes with two sets of keys. I have manuals to work on the car two or three books. Like I said if you want to do me down you won't get all the goodies. I have the Studebaker Jack which would be an extra if you don't want it. I never got carpet for the floor.
