project of a 50-year Antique Motorcycle Club of America member and
75-year Harley-Davidson Collector and enthusiast. Now being offered
after over 30 years of ownership, cycle 38U4472 is a show favorite.
Featuring Harley's famous "Big Twin Flathead 74" motor, this cycle
was tastefully restored in Caterpillar Yellow, accompanied by a
rare package van with same color scheme. An impressive collection
of documentation and receipts show a complete rebuild by W.C Scott
in 1982, the motorcycle traveled just 7500 miles before receiving
its full cosmetic restoration in 1999, when it also gained a fresh
top end overhaul and paired with its package van assembly.
