Notchback Coupe. Finished in Oxford White over grey interior, this
Mustang has seen several performance-oriented chassis upgrades
(shocks, springs, frame stiffeners) and it handles great. Paint and
body present to a nice driver standard (the only flaw to note is a
small dent in the roof - see photos). Gorgeous brand-new 17-inch
10-hole alloy wheels are wearing new BF Goodrich G Force Comp 2
tires.
Interior presents nicely with vintage Recaro sport seats from the
late 1980s (nicely upholstered in tri-tone grey and black); rear
seat delete kit from CJ Pony Parts. Very good original door panels,
headliner, steering wheel and crack-free dash. All gauges are
working and the A/C blows ice cold.
Under the hood is a fuel injected 5.0 liter V8 mated to a
five-speed manual transmission; upgrades include Bilstein shocks,
H&R springs, frame stiffeners, and a Flowmaster exhaust. We
were impressed by how well this car handles and how flat it is in a
turn. This fox body runs and drives great but the third gear
synchro is a little worn.
