Melanson Motors is proud to offer this 1966 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. This restored example is an original GT car with a Metuchen, New Jersey built buck tag. This is a true Sahara Beige over Black Pony interior car. It was delivered to Charlotte, NC with a 22 DSO. It has all the best options including Air Conditioning, GT option, rallye gauges, pony interior, center console, power steering, front disc brakes, 4 speed manual transmission and an A-code 289 V8 engine. This Ford appears to retain all of its original body panels. It starts and drives perfectly! The air blows cold and the clock even ticks! The Sahara Beige paint is excellent. The body is laser straight with excellent gaps. The bumpers are rechromed and the stainless trim is in excellent shape. The interior is nearly flawless with an original style steering wheel. Underneath, this Mustang looks like new! It has proper red oxide primer on the floors and has new brake lines, fuel lines, gas tank and exhaust. This Ford rides on 15" styled wheels.
