The original Alfa Romeo Giulia, produced from 1962 to 1978, was among the world's first sports sedans; proof that a practical four-door could be every bit as engaging as a purpose-built sports car. Unveiled at the 1965 Geneva Motor Show, the Giulia Super studied the development lessons Alfa had learned campaigning the earlier TI Super in the European Touring Car Championship, and distilled them for road use. It featured a sprightlier 1.6-liter powerplant with twin Weber carburetors, disc brakes on all four corners, and interior updates including a revised dashboard and aluminum triple-spoke steering wheel. Following a handful of suspension upgrades in 1968, the 1970 Giulia Super arrived with upgraded brakes and a handful of quality-of-life features including larger door handles and a center-mounted handbrake.

This 1970 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super is finished in Blu olandese (Dutch Blue) over Cuoio tan vinyl; which is confirmed to be factory correct by its Certificato di Origine from the Centro Documentazione Alfa Romeo. The Giulia Super was produced in December 1970 and was delivered new in Ancona, Italy. According to prior research, the Giulia was imported from Italy to the United States in 2018, settling in Utah and receiving a fresh coat of its Dutch Blue paint as well as a carburetor service. The Alfa was acquired by the consignor in October 2022, a passionate Italian sports car collector, and now resides locally in Rhode Island.
