For consignment, a 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 coupe showing 67,897 miles, but the true miles are unknown. This is a two owner car maintained by a GM trained technician, now featuring an SLP 3" Loudmouth exhaust.

Exterior
Named for the racetrack in Florida, Sering Silver Metallic coats the body while a black B-pillar and smoked, translucent roof create the fuselage profile first mastered by the Acura NSX of the early 90's, executed well on this F-body. 16-inch chrome wheels carry 245/50R16 tires with an early 2022 date code. While we're in profile, let's note the aerodynamic treatment of side mirrors that cap a curved body detail emerging from the hood. In back, an integrated wing is seamless in profile but creates a bold gap out back where robust polished exhaust tips emerge from under the bumper. In front, a face formed by wind and designed to cut through it includes sweeping headlights that cast wind to the side. Imperfections are few and include some spots on the black pillar, scuffs on the hood, minor chips, light scratches, dimple in the bumper, and chin scrapes.

Interior
Ebony, also known as basic black, is used on the interior beginning with smooth paneled inner doors with plastic switchgear and narrow storage bins, and both present cleanly. Black leather is the material of choice for the bucket seats with only some light wrinkling present on the driver's seat, but overall all four seats are in great condition. The monochromatic palette continues to the steering wheel with its few integrated thumb buttons, and the instrument cluster, a basic collection of only the most vital information. A factory AM/FM/CD player resides in the center stack along with the standard A/C panel while the dealer installed Hurst short throw shifter rises from a leather boot and plastic surrounds of the center console which affords one cup holder for the occupants to battle for. Charcoal carpet presents nicely as does the headliner that surrounds the T-tops. The cargo area is sculpted to accept the T-tops and is spotless.

Drivetrain
Under the hood you'll find a 5.7 liter LS1 V8, fuel injected and now breathing through a K&N cold air intake, but the stock unit comes with the car. It's mated to a Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission the routes power to the 10 bolt rear axle with 3.42 gears and Positraction. The bay presents cleanly.

Undercarriage
Typical surface rust underneath on an otherwise clean bottom with some goodies added including lowering springs on the coil spring suspension at both ends, drilled and slotted brakes on the four wheel power discs, and an SLP Loudmouth exhaust on the single unit that emits dual tailpipes.

Drive-Ability
Clean and comfortable, the Z starts up with a bellowing rumble that makes it stand out from mere mortal Camaros and sails across the test loop, scoring high marks for acceleration, handling, and tracking. This coddled Camaro also has every function working as it should. No complaints from this peanut gallery! At 66,300 miles, this car had a typical tune up and every fluid flushed and changed. Along with the fresher tires, this is one of the most turnkey examples of a 2002 Z28 you're going to find.
