1970 Dodge A100 Van - Rare Army Shuttle Bus Survivor - Runs &
Drives - 94K Original Miles Here's your chance to own a
hard-to-find 1970 Dodge A100 Van, built in November 1969 and
originally used by the U.S. Army as a shuttle bus. This van spent
its life in Kentucky and has never been exposed to harsh winter
conditions. It's a solid, running project with a ton of potential
and a great foundation for restoration, customization, or
preservation. Powered by the original 318 V8 with a 4-barrel
Edelbrock carburetor, the van runs well and was recently winterized
before being placed into storage. Back in 2015, the original manual
transmission was replaced with a new Chrysler 904 automatic
transmission that has only about 6 miles on it since installation.
It also features true dual exhaust and a 2-inch receiver hitch. The
body is solid with no rust-through anywhere on the van. There are a
few dents and spots of surface rust, but the sheet metal is
remarkably sound. Underneath, the undercarriage is exceptionally
clean and still protected by factory-style undercoating. Peel it
back and you'll find metal that looks nearly new. Additional
features include: 94,099 original miles Clean, up-to-date title All
glass in good condition 5-Star Rally wheels 14' front wheels, 15'
rear wheels True dual exhaust 2' receiver hitch Army-green heritage
with white and black repaint Solid body with no rust holes The
wheels and tires alone represent roughly $1,200 in value. This van
would make an excellent restoration candidate, street cruiser, shop
van, camping conversion, or classic Mopar collectible. A little
bodywork, dent repair, and fresh paint would take it to the next
level. I hate to let this one go. These A100 vans are getting
harder to find every year, and Dodge isn't making any more of them.
It's currently in storage and available now, but once the snow
flies, all bets are off. Runs, drives, and comes with a clean
title. A rare, solid project that's ready for its next chapter.
