1973 Plymouth Duster Big Block Mopar Muscle If you're looking for a
well-built Mopar street machine with big block power, this 1973
Plymouth Duster is worth a serious look. Originally a factory Gold
Duster equipped with power steering, power brakes, and air
conditioning, this car was taken down and thoroughly rebuilt with
performance and reliability in mind. Under the hood is a 400ci
Mopar big block sourced from a 1975 Road Runner, featuring a .484
Purple Shaft cam, roller timing chain, 906 heads from a 1969 GTX
with new valves and springs, shaved heads, Edelbrock intake, Holley
carburetor, headers, deep oil pan, and windage tray. The result is
a strong-running Mopar that sounds as good as it performs. Power is
sent through a rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission with new
clutches and seals, paired with a Mopar Performance stall
converter. Out back is an 8-inch Sure Grip rear end with new 3.91
gears, giving the car excellent street and strip manners. The
interior has been refreshed with new carpet, new seat covers, new
headliner, new Sport bucket seats, and a B&M floor shifter. The
original black bench seat are included with the sale. Additional
updates include a new windshield, complete new brake system, and
all new fuel lines. Highlights: 1973 Plymouth Duster Original
