Limited to only 300 units worldwide, the 2000 Cobra R was the most specialized and track-focused Mustang produced by Ford for the model year. Finished in its exclusive factory Performance Red exterior with a Dark Charcoal interior, this car represents the ultimate expression of Ford's New Edge SVT performance program.
Power comes from Ford's naturally aspirated 5.4-liter DOHC 32-valve V8, factory rated at 385 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission, an aluminum flywheel, an 11-inch clutch, and a speed- and torque-sensitive differential.
