For Sale: 1941 Mercury 19A in Kentwood, Michigan

These Art Deco era cars are so great to look at and with the mechanics of this car in particular that are in great shape make this a real quality driver. The second generation of the Mercury 8 or the 19A was built between 1941 and 1948 with an obvious wartime absence from late 1942 through 1945. The style would remain the same both pre and post war. Close to 100,000 units were sold in 1941 and would be a turning point for Mercury even though the pre war Merc was short lived. This particular car is in wonderful mechanical condition with that flat V8 that fires right up and idles nicley with a great sound. The paint is driver quality with some blemishes but still very presentable. The interior shows stock and in decent condition. The engine bay is tidy and unmolested and from what we can tell the car is ready to go with no immediate known issues.
