1974 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe, Restored - Engine was rebuilt by a
professional shop in 2010; rebuild included New pistons, New
bearings, New camshaft, New lifters, New pushrods, New valves and
valve springs, New oil pump, New water pump, New fuel pump, and the
Turbo Hydramatic (M40) 3-speed automatic transmission was also
rebuilt (all of this was done at around 31,000 miles). The chassis
was sandblasted and painted flat black. A newer stock dual exhaust
system with stainless steel exhaust tips was installed. Exterior
was repainted Metallic Maroon by a professional body shop, which
presents exceptionally well with a recent paint correction polish
for even more perfection. All weatherstripping was replaced. Both
front and back bumpers were replaced; the front was replaced with
fiberglass to avoid the common warping and paint defects associated
with the originals over time, while the back was changed to the
1980-82 bumper style, which was urethane. Both of which match the
paint very well; no shortcuts were made doing this restoration. The
interior is in amazing condition and features new seat covers, new
dash, side panels, and visors. Also has a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo with
SiriusXM capability and Bluetooth connectivity, paired with two
PowerBass speakers. Lastly, functionality and equipment include Air
conditioning, Power brakes, Power steering, Power windows,
functioning windshield wipers, fuel, water temp, oil pressure, and
battery gauge; all work with the exception of the clock. The
odometer reads an astonishingly low 35,062 miles. We are very proud
to present this beautifully restored Corvette. This is a no-excuse
dream machine.
