The car has been owned by current owner for more that 42 years and was driven regularly until mid 2001 when it was retired from active use. At that time, the car's interior and exterior were restored by Custom Auto Classic Cars at a cost of more that $10,000. The leather and carpeting were relaced to match the original and the car was repainted to the original color. Since then the convertible top and weather seals were replaced by DTS Enterprises Inc. of Ellsworth, Michigan at a cost of mre than $3,500. Since then, the car has been garaged at owner's home in Northern Michigan and driven only occaisionally during the summer months. The vichicle is licensed as an "Historical " venhicle. The car includes a detachable hard top and rack for storing the ard top. The odometer stopped working earlier trhis summwer but had about 195,000 miles when it stopped.
