Rare 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Convertible 5-Speed with 42k MilesThis 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet with a 5-speed manual is a highly attractive driver with 42k miles from new. White with a blue leather interior. Powered by a naturally aspirated DOHC 16-valve inline-4 mated to a 5-speed gearbox. A very original and honest car with low mileage. The 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet is one of the more interesting and rare modern-classic Porsches because it combines the excellent 944 chassis with the relatively rare S2 drivetrain and an open-top body. The S2 was essentially Porsche's naturally aspirated high-performance 944. Its 3.0-liter four-cylinder was a substantial step up from the smaller engines used in earlier 944s. Importantly, it remained naturally aspirated rather than using the turbocharger found in the 944 Turbo. That gives it a particularly nice character: strong low and mid-range torque, linear throttle response and relatively uncomplicated power delivery.
