First of all the Fiestas came from Germany for a year period as a stopgap measure while the American Escort was being developed and Fords first front wheel drive production car. The American Fiestas were all equipped with the larger kent 1.6 Liter with a cross flow head to cope with US Emissions. This engine would go on to power the performance XR2 model starting in 1981. As you probably guessed this Fiesta is far from stock... It has been completely torn down and rebuilt with some notable items like a Burton Performance CNC Big Valve head, Kent high torque cam, high flow oil pump, tri metal bearings, max-speed H beam connecting rods, 4 Makuni 37 mm Carburetors, electronic distributor, upgraded brakes and adjustable suspension just to name a few! If you caged it, it would be ready for the track.This car is very fun to drive and draws attention everywhere it goes.
